I found a new song about London which pretty much describes my life. But instead of describing my actual life, like waterloo sunset, it describes my imaginary life. It's called A Foggy Day in Londontown and it's great:
a foggy day in londontown
had me low and had me down
i viewed the morning with alarm
the british museum had lost it's charm
how long, I wondered, could this thing last?
but the age of miracles hadn't passed
for suddenly I saw you there
and through foggy londontown
the sun was shining everywhere

we used to play that song in Jazz!
(I think it's the same)
Whose version do you like? The peppy, upbeat Michael Buble version? The moody, dreamy Judy Garland version? Or the David Bowie version that I can't find? (Can you tell I have been searching for the song on iTunes? I am so lame...)
And I want to hear the David Bowie version!
Insight into the mind of Brits:
Simon Cowell on American Idol tonight:
"You know what is amazing about this country [referring to USA] - you are genuinely happy when someone you know gets good news. I couldn't do it."
